Program Overview


The Aboriginal Wellness and Enrichment Program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at promoting health, cultural identity, and community connection among Aboriginal peoples. Our program operates from 9am to 5pm and is open to individuals of all ages within the Aboriginal community.


Program Components


  1. Cultural Enrichment


   -Traditional Storytelling: Elders and community leaders share stories, histories, and legends that pass down cultural knowledge and values.

   - Arts and Crafts: Participants engage in traditional crafts such as beadwork, weaving, painting, and carving.

   - Language Revitalization: Classes and workshops to learn and practice Aboriginal languages, preserving linguistic heritage.


  1. Health and Wellness


   -Physical Fitness: Classes in traditional dance, yoga, and other physical activities designed to promote fitness and well-being.

   -Nutritional Guidance: Workshops on preparing traditional foods and maintaining a balanced diet, including cooking demonstrations and healthy eating tips.

   -Mental Health Support: Counseling services, support groups, and workshops focused on mental health awareness and coping strategies.
